Feeling connected at home and in our town is fundamental to living well in Tiburon. A vibrant community thrives when we build intentional connections, support a bustling downtown, upgrade our parks, and provide housing options that let long-time residents age in place alongside growing families.
We need direct, results-oriented action that bridges generational divides and moves beyond endless studies. By putting our Parks Strategic Plan and General Plan into immediate motion, we will protect our local character while building a connected, energetic, and resilient town.
Our Community Gatherings & Local Culture
Our local culture benefits when we promote and collaborate. We must create a unified foundation to bring residents together with a predictable, high-quality, year-round calendar of events.
What We Will Do
Result: A vibrant, year-round calendar of events that drives downtown foot traffic and deepens civic connection.
Our Parks & Open Spaces
Our parks and open spaces are the heart of Tiburon's outdoor life, but delayed upgrades leave facilities underutilized. We must turn park plans into completed projects that deliver accessible recreation for every generation.
What We Will Do
Result: Modernized, accessible, and well-maintained parks delivered on time to all residents.
Our Commercial District Vitality
A thriving commercial core is vital for local services and community revenue. Passive management leads to vacant storefronts and lost economic vitality. We must practice proactive, business-friendly governance to build a bustling downtown and Cove area.
What We Will Do
Result: A thriving, walkable downtown backed by strong civic partnerships and sustained business growth.
Our Proactive Housing Partnerships
Without proactive leadership, state housing mandates risk imposing uncoordinated growth. We must lead with a collaborative housing strategy that preserves town character while providing options for every stage of life.
What We Will Do
Result: Thoughtfully designed housing that protects local character, expands our tax base, and avoids costly legal battles.
Commitment to Results
Our community is our greatest shared legacy, and it requires active, results-oriented stewardship to thrive. This plan moves us beyond passive discussion toward a future where our parks welcome all generations, our commercial hubs invite meaningful connection, and our housing options preserve family continuity and civic strength. Together, we will turn ambitious plans into lasting, tangible results that unite our community for generations to come.
Let’s turn plans into progress and bring Tiburon together.
Tiburon needs a local government that prioritizes decisive execution over endless study. This plan instills fiscal stewardship, operational rigor, and proactive leadership to deliver measurable outcomes for our residents. I am running to solve our town's challenges, move past deliberation, and deliver concrete results.
What We Will Do
Result: By leveraging resident expertise, we build trust, improve fiscal responsibility, and ensure that every tax dollar is managed with the care and diligence our community expects.
What We Will Do
Shift from reactive to proactive governance by tracking the metrics that directly impact daily life.
Result: QBRs provide the visibility needed to pivot quickly, keep projects on track, and ensure our Town government delivers results rather than just reports.
What We Will Do
Transform fragmented advisory bodies into effective engines for progress
Result: When commissions work toward a shared vision, we eliminate silos, improve efficiency, and ensure every advisory body contributes to the community’s shared success.
What We Will Do
Maximize the impact of our Joint Powers Authorities (JPAs) and vital community partners like the RUSD and Chamber of Commerce.
Result: By aligning our partners, we create "multipliers of success," effectively leveraging our community's greatest assets to deliver cohesive, high-value results for every resident.
I am committed to an open, transparent, and community-driven process with measurable metrics to ensure our government works for you. I will prioritize:
Together, we will move from endless deliberation to a culture of decisive, accountable execution, ensuring Tiburon remains a thriving, sustainable community for generations to come.
Let’s stop studying the future and start building it.
Peak traffic congestion on Tiburon Boulevard during morning (7:30 – 8:45 AM) and afternoon (2:30 – 4:45 PM) commute hours creates major delays, frustration, and safety risks for our community. Solving these complex traffic bottlenecks requires a diverse array of integrated, decisive actions rather than a single fix. Based on the 2026 Tiburon Transportation and Infrastructure Study, this plan delivers immediate relief and long-term upgrades—reducing vehicle volume, optimizing traffic signals, and expanding school mobility options to give residents time back in their day and keep our town moving.
When the clock hits 7:30 AM or 2:30 PM, our traffic grinds to a halt. We aren't waiting for years of construction to fix these daily bottlenecks; we are deploying smart, immediate solutions to give residents their time back today. Our commitment to results means these actions start now to clear our roads during the hours that matter most.
What We Will Do
Result: Immediate reduction in peak-hour gridlock and a smoother, more predictable flow through our town.
Operational fixes are just the start; to truly solve the peak, we must widen our capacity and fix our broken infrastructure. This phase commits to permanent structural changes that ensure Tiburon’s growth doesn’t come at the expense of our quality of life, delivering measurable results that keep our town moving for generations.
What We Will Do
Result: A modernized, safer transportation corridor that eliminates peak-hour choke points and ensures long-term flow.
Commitment to Results
Good ideas are essential, but the delivery of results is what impacts our quality of life. We should have Town Council members who are committed to an open, transparent, and community-driven process with measurable metrics including:
Together, we will hold ourselves accountable and turn traffic goals into tangible progress for Tiburon.
Let’s get rolling. Our town’s progress should not get stuck in traffic.
Feeling safe at home and on our trails is fundamental to living well in Tiburon. Safety means fewer accidents, stronger protection against crime, and emergency readiness. When we invest in safety, we build a community where our children, seniors, families, and neighbors can thrive with peace of mind.
Tiburon's Old Rail Trail (ORT) is heavily used. Every day it's crowded with walkers, cyclists, families biking to school, people walking dogs, commuters heading to the ferry, and e-bikers. It's our main north-south path and it's the same 17 feet wide everywhere, with no separated bike lanes. That's tight. For comparison, Mill Valley's bike path is 21.5 feet wide and sees less traffic. We need a safer, wider trail system for everyone.
What We Will Do
Result: Safer, wider, and better-maintained multi-use trails that reduce conflicts for all users.
As Tiburon grows, new developments must pay their fair share for the public safety resources they demand. More homes mean increased calls for fire, medical, and police protection—and existing taxpayers shouldn't carry that burden alone.
What We Will Do
Result: Fully funded emergency services and public infrastructure that scale directly with growth, without tax increases on current residents.
Tiburon is a special place, but even rare incidents disrupt our peace of mind. Every single resident deserves active protection, an attentive local government, and an engaged community that stands together to watch out for one another.
What We Will Do
Result: Stronger neighborhoods, more watchful neighbors, better security.
Earthquakes, wildfires, and climate impacts are real risks. Preparation now means families and staff know what to do when emergencies strike.
What We Will Do:
Result: A community ready to handle emergencies with confidence.
Stop studying safety & start delivering by building a safer, resilient Tiburon together
