My Commitment to Action & Results

Tiburon is more than just a place to live, it is where our children grow up and where we build our lives together. My work in our community has always been driven by the belief that when we listen to one another and act with a sense of urgency, we can protect what makes our town special while building a stronger future for everyone. Below are some highlights of this work in our community.

Successfully advocated for Ferry departure times that better align with school drop-off times, making the daily routine a little easier for our commuting families.

Advanced the Tiburon Park Strategic Plan from concepts to completed deliverables, ensuring our shared spaces are ready for families to enjoy today.

Led the creation and adoption of Tiburon’s updated Integrated Pest Management plan  as POST Chair, identifying best practices in other Marin towns tailored for Tiburon's needs to deliver faster results, eliminate toxic chemicals from our parks, and save taxpayer dollars by cutting out costly consultants.

Working with the local businesses now to help drive visitation and economic activity from existing events  that support our local businesses, non profits and keeps Tiburon vibrant. 

By organizing community-led advocacy, we secured the preservation of vital natural habitats and open spaces along Tiburon Ridge, protecting these resources for future generations.

As a community advisor to Zero Waste Marin, we launched communication programs that actively reduce landscaping and construction waste in our landfills, fostering a more sustainable Tiburon and Marin. 

Through proactive collaboration with the Tiburon Police Department and local residents, we are addressing safety concerns along the Old Rail Trail to ensure it remains a safe space for all walkers and cyclists.
